Overview.
As you embark on your 7 days chimpanzee and gorilla trekking safari, you will have remarkable scenes of the Kibale National Park chimpanzees in their natural habitats as well as the endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be driven to Kibale National Park a day after your arrival and the next day you begin on your chimpanzee trekking adventure. A walk in the wetland sanctuary of Bigodi in the afternoon will give you slandered views of different wildlife species.
On the third day, you will embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Where you will trek the endangered mountain gorillas and interact with them in their natural habitats. The following day you will burn some calories while mountain biking on the trails in the forests of Bwindi and have a session in the afternoon with the Batwa community before beating off the lodge. Detained Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival
The first day of your 7 days chimpanzee and gorilla trekking safari will begin with your pick up from the airport upon arrival by our professional guide. You will then be driven to your booked hotel for dinner and relaxation as you prepare for the journey to the countryside.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
The following day you will have a delicious breakfast in your hotel and our professional guide will pick you up and start your journey to Kibale National Park. This journey takes about 5 hours through the Mubende-Fort Portal road. The journey will be adventurous as you get to view the lives of the locals in the countryside and the landscape of the bright green colors of tea plantations.
You will also make a stopover at the ancient amabere ga nyinamwiru the stalagmite and stalactites rocks in Fort Portal. You will then arrive at your booked lodge in Kibale National Park just in time for dinner and an overnight afterward.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary tour
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide and take you to the Kibale National Park headquarters. From there you will receive a briefing from the game rangers and park officials about the required code of conduct which involves the rules and regulations. The rangers will then lead you on the trekking trails into Kibale jungles in search of the chimpanzees.
In a short time in the forests of Kibale, you will encounter the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will spend an hour with these primates and observe them go by with their daily chores. In the afternoon after your lunch at your lodge, you will take on a tour of the wetland sanctuary of Bigodi which is a conservation area managed by the local community. You will be entertained by the various bird species and other primate species like vervet monkeys, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys as well as other animals like waterbucks to mention but a few. In the evening you will be taken to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
In the morning after your breakfast at your lodge, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by our guide. This journey takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the park depending on the gate you are using. You will check in your lodge in the evening in time to relax and have your dinner.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking
The following day after you have arrived in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will have your breakfast, and our guide will pick you up and take you to the park offices of the region of the park you are going to be trekking. The park officials will then brief you on the trekking process as well as the rules and regulations. The rangers will then lead the way onto the trekking trail in the Bwindi Impenetrable forests.
The trekking journey to mountain gorillas is tiresome but fun and adventurous as you will be entertained by other different primate species like vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and olive baboons among others jumping from tree to tree. Bwindi has the largest mountain gorilla population in Uganda so it will not take you long before seeing them. After the mountain gorillas have been sought, you will be given an hour in the presence of these apes.

Day 6: Mountain biking and Batwa cultural tours
In the morning after your breakfast, you will take on a challenging journey of mountain bike riding on the trails in the park. This is a fun adventure into the park jungles and allows exploring the jungles for more hidden treasures. It is also a healthy activity as you get to burn the extra calories in your body and improve your health. After your lunch, you will embark on a cultural tour of the Batwa communities around the park. The Batwa people are one of the oldest ethnic groups of people in Africa and they lived in the premises of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park before it was gazette into a national park.
Their ways of living and the survival skills they portrayed for years living in the park will surely amaze you. Tales told by their elders about their ancient history and evolution surely excite. You also visit the different conservation projects of the Batwa people that they have developed to protect the endangered primates.

Day 7: Departure
The following morning after your breakfast, our guide will pick you up and after checking out of your lodge embark on your journey back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure back home.
