Take on a 3 days safari in Lake Mburo National Park and be entertained by the beauty of Uganda’s finest flora and fauna. The journey of your 3 days to Lake Mburo National Park will commence from the time of arrival where you will be picked up by our professional guide. He will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park and your adventurous activities on the package will begin.

T.ake a morning boat cruise the day after you arrive in the park and in the afternoon, you will be guided into the wildness of the park to interact with the animals while horseback riding. Your final day in Lake Mburo National Park will be that of making unforgettable memories after engaging in a morning game drive in the park to view some of the hidden treasures of the park and a lot of animals. In the afternoon you will be transferred back to Kampala city to prepare for your departure.

Itinerary in Details.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Upon arrival, our professional guide will be waiting for you at the airport to usher you into the country. He will then drive you to the countryside in western Uganda to Lake National Park. While on your journey, you will make short stopovers at Kayabwe to take some photos at the equator.

This is a memorable moment to be at the imaginary line that bisects the earth into two hemispheres of North and South. You will then check into your booked lodge just in time for dinner and overnight.

Meals: Lunch and dinner

Day 2: Boat cruise and horseback riding

You will be served a hot delicious breakfast in the morning after you have woken and our guide and driver will be waiting to take you for the day’s adventures. You will begin with a boat cruise at the biggest lake in the park Lake Mburo. While on the boat cruise, you will be entertained by the schools of hippos in the water relaxing after a night of grazing in the park fields. You will surely spot the Nile crocodiles busking in the morning with warm sunshine on the shores of the lake. Herds of buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, and warthogs among others can also be viewed on the shores quenching their thirst. At this time, it will be clocking lunchtime and you head back to the lodge for a meal.

After lunch and relaxing a bit, you will be driven back to the park for horseback riding. Horseback riding is an interesting activity and highly anticipated by many visitors because you get to explore the park and view a lot of animals such as impalas, buffaloes, zebras, and topis to mention but a few while riding a horse. In the evening you then be driven back to the lodge for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Kampala

The final day of your 3 days Lake Mburo National Park will begin with an early morning breakfast. Our guide will then drive to the park for a morning game drive. Game viewing or game drive allows you to view the animals in the park up close while in the safety and comfort of your vehicle.

This session of game drive normally takes about 2 hours and after it’s done you will be driven back to your lodge for lunch and check out to prepare for your departure. Our diver will then take on a journey back to Kampala for your departure. The journey from Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala will take you approximately 4-5 hours and you will be just in time for your flight back home.
