Overview
The 7 Days Migration National Park will take you to the three national parks in Kenya are others are Amboseli known for homing large herds of elephants with a backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru National Park famous for homing large numbers of flamingoes and Masai Mara National reserve known for hosting the the annual wildbeest Migration and the big five animals. The safari includes game drives, bush breakfast, picnic lunch and more.
Detailed Itinerary
Day1. Head to Amboseli NP from Nairobi-Kenya
The driver guide will pick you up from the hotel or any other agreed point in Nairobi and you will head to Amboseli National Park home to large herds of elephants in front of Mt Kilimanjaro this gives a clear view and beauty of this great protected area. The journey is amazing as you head to the countryside passing through the different fields of gardens, plantations, and more. Head to the lodge booked for your dinner and overnight.
Day2. Full day in Amboseli
This day will be spent watching over different wildlife in the Amboseli savannah plains with a backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Take part in a full-day game drive where you expect to meet different animals such as Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik and more. You will know that the park has large numbers of elephants giving a history of the wildlife. Lunch picnic will be served in your vehicle while in the wild enjoying wild animals and bird life.
Day3. Head to Lake Nakuru
Leave for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast. Lunch will be served en route and then proceed with the drive arriving in the afternoon and then cooling your body in the swimming pool. Then in the evening, take a game drive where you encounter different animals and birds since the park is known to be home to thousands of flamingoes mainly found at the shores of the lake. expect to meet rhinos, giraffes, waterbucks, lions, cheetahs, leopards and others. Head to the lodge booked for dinner.
Day4. Head to Masai Mara NR
Leave Lake Nakuru National Park after a morning game drive and head to Masai Mara National Park with lunch en route. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the largest protected areas in Kenya homing the big five animals and also hosting the annual wildebeest migration. The road trip is amazing and rewarding as you encounter different landscapes, and Masai homesteads (manyattas). Arrive and head to the lodge for your dinner.
Day5-6. Explore Mara plains
These two days will be spent in Mara plains exploring the beautiful savannah areas where you expect to meet animals like elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, ostriches, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and many more. During this time, witness the annual wildebeest migration of millions together with thousands of zebras. You have an option of taking part in a hot air ballooning tour a chance to enjoy the wild in a panoramic view.
Day7. Head back to Nairobi and fly home
Take breakfast and enjoy a drive back to Nairobi. If time allows, visit Nairobi National Park with animals like buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, baboon, zebra, wildebeest and more. Head to the airport and be dropped there to mark the end of the safari.
